Dr Robert A Jimenez is a board certified vascular surgeon in Broward County, FL. He is from San Juan, Puerto Rico and is a native Spanish speaker. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering. As an Engineer he worked in opto-mechanical design and manufacturing. While developing surgical lasers, he became interested in medicine. He attended the University of Pennsylvania to complete his pre-med requirements and then attended The Ohio State University college of Medicine, where he graduated in 2005. He trained in general surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida and did his vascular surgery fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Jimenez performs the full spectrum of vascular and endovascular surgery. Dr. Jimenez speaks spanish fluently.
